Hi there!
Firstly, thank you for the opportunity to post on your website. Increased exposure to tournaments and competitions means that we can further our coverage to an even larger audience in the community!
So, who are we?
Most of you will know us from the BF Division at Gamestah Radio. We have been providing you with hundreds of hours of entertainment and shout-casting throughout all of the seasons of the GameArena 2142 Ladder. netGameRadio is a new shout-casting and gaming internet station that will bring high quality and innovative productions to your doorstep. Exactly in the same capacity as we have done previously, just with a new home. You can request shout-casts of your ladder matches on our forums, in exactly the same manner as you have before. Whilst our website is still currently having some final tweaks being made to it, it will be fully functional soon, with all the features you have come accustomed too.
Whilst the name is new to the Battlefield community, our shout-casters are not! They bring with them a wealth of experience and are very enthustiastic about covering as many ladder matches and tournaments as they can! Which brings us to our official launch competition!
You may have heard about a previous exhibition match which was run by http://www.rdnx.com.au and Gamestah Radio between Avant-Garde and the Deltabrotherhood. In the same fashion as this successful match, netGameRadio is launching it's station with a fantastic 2142 tournament. Four very experienced teams are going to come head to head, in a round-robin type tournament where the prize money is in excess of over $2000! The tournament is known as the BFMasters.
With the previous success of allowing spectators to join the actual server, and listen to the shout-cast live, you will be able to do exactly this in all of the matches. We will also again be providing live crosses to each competing teams communications channel, to hear the play by play action unfold!
Whilst your team may not be directly involved, we are not only wanting you to join us for this launch to give you an insight in to our new station, but we will be offering lots of cool netGameRadio merchandise prizes for listeners and participants. So if you haven't already, head over to the netGameRadio forums and register, and if your an IRC fanatic, then join us in our own channel #netgameradio on the AusIRC network. Make sure you add it to your auto-join as this will be the new place to go for live shout-outs and the place to be where we will be handing out all the prizes!
We are very excited to be launching this new community based radio station for the Australian Battlefield Community, and look forward to both casting you in your own match and seeing you involved with our new endeavor!
